This Privacy Policy explains how Clockwork (“Clockwork,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you play Clockwork at clockwork3d.com (the “Game”). By playing the Game or creating an account, you agree to this Policy.
Clockwork is intended for players aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. See Children’s privacy below.
We use this information to create and maintain your account, save and sync your progress, operate leaderboards, run and improve the Game, and keep it secure.
We use Google AdSense (including its games-ad products) to show advertisements in the Game. This may include optional “rewarded” ads you choose to watch in exchange for in-game items. To serve ads, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies and may collect certain data, such as device identifiers and approximate, IP-based location.
For players identified as under the age of 18, ad personalization is disabled and only limited, age-appropriate ad categories are shown, in line with Google’s policies.
You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, manage your ad preferences at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of personalized ads from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info.
The in-game currency and items you can earn — including from watching a rewarded ad — have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and can only be used inside the Game.
These providers process data on our behalf and maintain their own privacy practices.
Clockwork is intended for players 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it. We comply with applicable children’s privacy laws, including the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
You can view or update your account by signing in, sign out at any time, clear locally stored data through your browser settings, and ask us to delete your account and associated data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — such as to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. Contact us to exercise them.
We keep your account and gameplay data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal information, except where we need to keep limited records to comply with the law or prevent abuse.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. Connections to the Game are encrypted (HTTPS), and passwords are stored in hashed form by our sign-in provider. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Game is operated online, and your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, which may have different data-protection laws.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Game after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
